GM Performance Exhaust Upgrade
GM
 offers a Performance Exhaust upgrade for $995 . Anyone have this or knows anything about the type of system it is?? ?? A sound clip/video would be nice also !

You can get flowmasters installed at Midas for under 400 bucks....but screwing with the emissions system will void that part of your factory warranty. For some its worth it. If the new car payment has you living hand to mouth, I wouldnt suggest you screw with it. Depends on your situation.

The finance guy at the dealer we bought our 2010 from had it installed on his SS. He said it was barely louder than stock. It probably did add horsepower, but didn't sound like it should for the price.

Yeah it is made by Borla, may as well go buy a Borla and save 400 bucks

I have it, and while pricy it's made by Borla, and is the equivalent of their Touring exhaust. It's sounds much better than stock, and yes it's just the mufflers ie. axleback with chrome polished tips, and a nice supporting mod.

Its some louder than stock, just right for my taste but the tone changed alot. much deeper now.
and you can find these mufflers for less than that price. (i think ~700.-) I bought mine at partszoneonline but seen it elsewhere too.

Deeper and nicer than stock. I got mine for 700.00 installed when I got my car in 2009. Love the size of the tips and no drone in my car after AFM somehow stopped working.
