Hand Wash or Machine?

Do you all hand wash your Camaro's or Machine wash it?

I've also met a few people that put this special coating on it, so its easier to spray off most of the dirt.

I personally hand wash mine, it takes 2-3 hours to wash every nook, clean my tires with the tire brush, and do the inside.

There's a huge thread already in existence about this.
It's all over the place, but most people prefer to hand wash it.
Some people say they take it through an automatic brush free wash 2 times a week... Others won't touch the automatic car washes....

I personally am going to try only hand washing it.

I would never do anything but hand wash any car.....if you use brushes or an automatic wash....you are asking for nothing but swirl marks and scracthes.

hand Wash only! Do not use towel to dry, believe it or not a wet towel can still cause micro scratches in the clear coat, causing it to look hazy over time. I use "fireman's friend" chamois, does not scratch and there is absolutly no water marks left after drying.

I'll run it through the brushed automatic unless funds are a bit short, then I'll get out there and do the labor myself. Not a big deal to me either way, although I certainly respect those who's opinions differ from mine.

I don't have the time for this 2-3 hour long handwashing crap. I have stuff to do. Like actually drive the car and have fun with it.

I get it detailed once a year, and that's good enough, seeing as I only drive it about 6 months out of the year, the wax lasts until the next detail.

I will never take my car through a regular car wash again. the ones that use brushes are very hard on the car, and the ones that are brush-less use so much water pressure that theyre actually worse. My camaro is really rusty and the paint is crappy, and i went through a car wash when i first got it, and a ton of paint got chipped off. if you have a little chip in the paint, a regular car wash can easily make it worse.
