Anyone notice the Footwell & cup light options?
Forgive me if this isn't new but, did anyone notice the option on the GM built-your-own website for the Illuminated footwell and cup holder lighting? They list it as a dealer installed option for $549.
Does anyone have the details on this or know if anything is new? I'm guessing that there are already a DIY for something like this out there. |

$549 for couple 12v leds and couple feet of wire? Nice profit margin on that option group. Many DIY for this.

got this kit last friday and installed it. Kit was $380 from dealership, I like it and there are 4 colors to it with an option to have it cycle through all 4 colors every 5 seconds. There are cheaper set-ups out there, I just wanted the GM one.

That's wayyy too much money for LED's. Your basically paying for their "professional installation". Get some LED's from Ofer (2SSRS) and he will set you up. Much less of a impact on your wallet
