Dallas Owners - Dealer Recommendation for Service - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

I have been given the run around at Stonebriar Chevrolet to get the paint chip resolved on my Camaro...i'm pretty much fed up and going to try to bring my car to another dealer to get it resolved. I already filed a formal complaint to GM.
Apparently the collision department is always "too busy" to assist a customer.

Anybody in the area can recommend a car dealership who will not give me the run around?
I live in the McKinney/Allen area and work in Addison area, so would prefer one close to that proximity if possible.

Here is my situation:
First time I go there they say they don't know how to fix.
I send them a copy of the Service Bulletin, which apparently they "lost".
Came back in person with bulletin in hand and was told to order the parts myself (WTF?!) and they will install when it comes in.
Parts come in, they say they can't work on my car cause they'll have to order stripes. Never hear from them....
Call back, they act dumb. Say drop off my car 1 month later!
Ask to setup free car rental, they say talk to Service. I talk to Service and they say why are they transferring you here...Collision has to authorize it.
They transfer me back to Collision and of course they don't answer.
Leave a message and no call back.
Sick and fed up with even messing with them any longer.

May be a bit of a drive but all my vehicles are serviced at Sewell off of Lemon. Go to the buick gmc dealership and they will take care of you.

go see Steve Gandy (service manager) At huffines in Plano tell him your issues and that John Thurik sent you and you will be taken care of.

No experience personally, but "The Body Shop" in McKinney I've heard does excellent work. Volkswagen sends all of their cars there- and I know Audi used to as well, not sure if they still do since they moved several years back...

Could be worth a call.

Just an update from what I heard from the customer service rep at GM. She said she spoke to the collision department and they said they have no record of my vehicle ever being in or the issue reported.

I replied to her, yeah no suprise. That is how bad they are over there. I fill out paperwork and get empty promises.

DO NOT got to Reliable Chevrolet in Richardson. They did this to my bumper and then tried to say it was already liked that. They also did a hack repair job from where I got rear ended and put a few scratches in my car.
