Yes that's correct. I bought a intake and sct tuner from Ted then installed. Both at home. Emailed Ted my stock data the tuner got from my car gave Ted the list of mods and he emailed me the tune back. I uploaded it to the tuner and then the car. And couldn't be happier. Only took him a couple of hours after having my stock data and I had my custom tune!!

Having tuned Harley's with EFI, I know canned tunes don't always squeeze the most performance out of an engine. No matter if the engines are the same size and same components, each setup has slight differences. Hence the reason for my question to dshep214 on how he did it.

Based on his response I see JRE used his engine's data to produce the tune. Hmm, didn't find that specific procedure on their website.

Thanks dshep214 for the non-smartass response.

Ted asked the customer to data log the car using the SCT tuner that he sold to the customer. The data is sent to Ted by e-mail, and he can fine tune it if needed,Sends a new file,Load it in the SCT,customer load it in car = happy customer from anywhere in the world.

I have a Janetty Tune, and I can assure you... he knows what he's doing.

Yeah I'm sure he does based on all the feedback I've read on other threads. I just wanted to understand how the process worked since I just started into cars from motorcycles. Going through the same learning curve on Camaros as I did with Harleys. I'll just direct my questions to JRE for specifics on how to go about getting this done.
