Camaros Will Be Everywhere?
Anyone welse have a feeling that there will be alot of Camaros on the road, i mean more then we first had anticipated. Everyone i know who has seen the Camaro, now wants one. Im shocked, but happy, that means GM has really pulled off an AMAZING car, but who else thinks it will be "too: popular?

I hope every person buys one. That way it will always be here. Besides, the design of this car is like a blank canvas, it leaves a lot of room for us to customize for originality.

I hope to see TONS on the road. I love pulling up next to another person in the same car. Just to give that little nod between two people with similar (good) tastes.
And before the typical "bu, bu, but I want to be special and be the only one for MILES with a Camaro" posts: If you want to stand out....CUSTOMIZE!!! |

if you do yours as your sig, then you should have no worries! That would look great!
Yeah i plan on customizing summer of 2010, that way i have more money, this smmer, she will be all eyes anyways. Soo beautiful, i know a couple of people wanting to trade in their vettes and others cars for a new Camaro, good news i must say! Im soo happy ythis car shuts up all those people who said it was too late, boring already, and now theyre hailing the car like a GOD, makes me proud! GM makes me proud! |

Honestly, I'd love to be one of 5 Camaros in Houston. I'd have no problem with that - I'm just glad the economy is down so that not everyone jumps on it like we did.

Mixed feelings on it. Would rather see a crap-load of them on the roads though
for the same reasons mentioned above. I won't be making any cosmetic changes to the car, but power train upgrades are a must for me. Yea, I know it is already chock-full of power, but come on! This car is begging for 500+ horses under the hood

Well if they stay with the low ouput of 200 per day and they build 1000 per week and there are about 50 weeks of production, that is 50,000 cars in 1 year.
There were less than 41,000 GTOs built in 3 years. So you will see more Camaros than modern GTOs in less than a year. If they double output to 400 per day, then in about 6 months you will see more Camaros than all of the modern GTOs built. since the GTO kind of blends in somewhat I think it will seem like Camaros are everywhere. |

For the sake of General Motors we better hope that his car sells a lot. It needs to be part of the success of the General, even though the 2 door pony car market is limited. It's CLEARLY a better (and better looking) car than the last generation of Camaro that went extinct, and yes I think eventually they will be out there like Mustangs. GM finally got it right. Now they need to do the same for the rest of the cars and trucks. |

There will probably be a lot on the road eventually. But in my area Cobalts, Malibus, and (Ford and Chevy) PU's rule the road and are a dime-a-dozen. So by comparison, they will definitely stand out.
In my area, I'd say on par with the Cadilac sedans. There are more than a few, but you definitely notice them. |

I want it to become popular but I don't want it to become like the Chrysler 300. I don't want to see one literally on every corner.
