CGM & Different Stripes Combination?
Hello everyone. I am new to the forums and yes I own a Mustang *dodges rotten vegitables and assorted fruit*. I was so moved by the new 2010 Camaros styling that I think I just might have to buy one.
I am curious what everyone thinks about the different stripe packages that can come with the car. For CGM would you go with white, silver, or black and why? I am personally leaning towards white because it is different I think it adds nice contrast to the dark metallic of CGM. Of course when some real pictures are taken my mind may be changed. So what do you all think? Thanks! |

If your going CGM, i would say go with black, i think it would look mean as hell with black out tails, black rims and black tint. White would look nice but i say Black!
Welcome to the site! P.S i like mustangs too, but i love Camaros. If your driving domestic, then your good in my books for sure! |

there is another thread with this exact same question. I dont know who said it but white just stands out, it looks good but stands out. black does the opposite it makes the rest of the car stand out.
that said im CGM and if i get stripes im going with black hockey stripes |

Here are some white stripes on a silver SS that someone from the site took...I think it looks sweet on SIM and would probably look better on CGM IMHO.

Yep that picture is the picture that started all of the quetsions running through my head!!
I wish more CGM Camaros would pop out of the factory so we can see some real pictures. I might just get the Camaro without stripes and have them installed after I decide on color. The only thing I am curious about is the quality of the installation/stripes. Will ones ordered from the factory be better quality than ones I order and install after? Or will they be exactly the same if not better? |

I am also going with black... the reason being, I thought the car would be too busy with the CGM, white stripes and the IOM interior.

White or silver. White will pop, silver would be a little more subtle.

i ordered CGM 2SS RS LS3 black hockey and ground effects hoping the stripes are kind of ghosted on the car
