I'm ordering my new vert 2ss/rs in 1 week any option do or don'ts?

I'm not asking about how to get the best price I'm asking about options that you were happy that you got or unhappy that you got or just wish you would have got?

RS option on the SS was $1,300 extra and was money well spent, imho.

I think its standard in the 2012..but I WISH WISH WISH my '11 VR Vert had the backup camera. Will probably be an after market install for me shortly....

(How did I ever backup for 25 years without it?)

It's a "muscle car" so keep the 6spd and don't opt for the auto.

I agree. SS/RS is winning. 6-speed or bust.

SS/RS with the 6-Speed. Me personally I would have got the 2SS but the 3 things the 2 SS has over the 1 SS I don't really like. The HUD, Gauges (like the cubby to put my stuff in) and the leather seats (have owned a couple leather seat cars and they are just not fun in Alabama heat)

How did I ever drive without a HUD before? It is awesome, but if you get it, be prepared to feel withdrawl on every other car you drive without after.

The number one thing that I get compliments on that is on my build sheet - GM Ground Effects, I LOVE the look and stance they give the car.

Check out my Build Thread in my Signature for ideas.

Opinions vary. Lets see- do I want to work and dig this ditch myself or let the guy next to me do it ?
Gee, I just can't decide.......
