Bondurant High Performance Course spring 2012 - interested?

UPDATE: The spring pricing is $2205, not as much of a discount as I was hoping for, but it is what it is. The classes are held during the week. Summer pricing may be @ $2K or possibly less but you have to deal with the heat. Send me a PM if you're interested and we'll start working on dates. I'm planning to reserve as soon as I get my tax return back.

Pyr0b0y and I are planning to take Bondurant's 2 day high performance driving course in the spring. I talked to Bruce at Bondurant today and he said if we could get a group of 6 for the class, he could get us all a discount. I'm putting this feeler out there to see who's interested. The course is $2450, not sure what it would be with the discount. You'll be driving brand new Camaro SS M6 cars. There's about an hour of classroom time in the AM and the rest of the day is spent in the cars, learning on the oval track and leading up to the big track. If you have questions or would like more info about the course, call Bruce at Bondurant 480-403-7615.

He won't have a schedule for the spring until late November. The classes sell out fast and are 6, 9 or 12 persons max. The student:instructor ratio is 3:1.

Let me know if you're seriously interested and I'll send you a PM once the class schedule is posted.

How much would it be with the discount? I guess I'm like 25% interested, and hoping against hope that the discount is sizable.

between C5Fest and Wifey wanting to go to Italy next year, and trying to buy a house the following year, I don't think this is going to be possible in spring. Maybe in 2 years or so. =/

I gotta look into what sort of driving they are teaching still - I would really like to learn more than just track skills as I've already done a lot of track training and race pretty often. I'm a maybe - perhaps I can convince someone to give it to me as an xmas gift hehehe :thumb up:

If they knocked like $1000 off the price id be very very tempted. Cant afford 2k+ though.

I've been wanting to go to bondurant for years. Someday I will.......

Yeah, the price is high and I think he over-quoted. I believe the CamaroNow article stated $2350 and I'm hoping for $2k or a little less if we can get at least 6.

summer would definitely be cheaper but I prefer to go in the spring (before April). 80% of the day in full gear, in the car, on a track, in the sun at 95-100+ temperature is not appealing to me.

When the schedule is up in November, I'll find out what kind of discount they'll give us with minimum 6.
