Someone threw a rock at My Camaro

Why do people have to be so stupid some times. I was driving on the back roads when someone passed me and stuck there hand out the window which I thought was a thumbs but instead I saw them throw something at my car which I had no idea what it was at first until it hit my Camaro's windshield and made a loud noise followed by cracking. I called my insurance company and had someone look at but it looks like it has to be replaced. Here is my question to my fellow Camaro guys do I need to get the windshield from a Chevy dealer or where should I go to get a good windshield. USAA has recommended safelite but I have heard some bad things about them!

Satellite is used everywhere. my girlfriend just had her windshield replaced by them last month; they were quick and did the job right. You would have no idea it was replaced.
However her insurance had a policy that if the car is under a year old they replace with oem glass.

I had my windshield replaced by Safelite....who I was referred to through my insurance. They got OEM glass from a dealer and replaced it while I was at work in the parking lot....of course I went out there to watch every second of it. But....it went fine and the OEM glass has been perfect so far. That was about 6 months ago.

Honestly Id be damn happy it just hit the windshield, thats much easier than tackling the repair if it hit because now you have a dent with scratches.

+1, I was thinking the same thing. Thats the good in a bad situation.

I carry concealed FN 5.7x28mm. Holds 20 of the P90 rounds

I would likely be in jail if that happened to me. There are some sorry excuses for human beings roaming this planet.

Hold on... You didn't try to chase them down? Get a license plate number? I'm angry for you, and it didn't involve me.
