Adam's Glass Sealant VS. Wolf's Nano Glass Guard
Today I received a package from Adam's Polishes. It was the Adam's Perfect Vision Glass Cleaner and Sealant Kit, found here http://www.adamspolishes.com/p-624-a...ant-combo.aspx , that Dylan sent me to do a review on. (Thanks Dylan) When I got home from lunch I went outside and began to apply Adam's Glass Sealant and Wolf's Chemicals Glass Guard to my car. Wolf's was applied to the driver side, and Adam's was applied to the passenger side.
Below is the two manufacturers application videos for these products. I followed both of the these videos for application all the way through. Adam's Glass Sealant Wolf's Chemicals Glass Guard I didn't take any videos as I followed both of these videos. I have no affiliations with either of these companies. The only thing I did before application was clean all of the glass with Adam's Glass Cleaner which is one of the best glass cleaners that I have ever used for an enthusiast. I also clayed the glass yesterday so there was no need for me to do it again today as the car hadn't been driven. Let me just say that Adam's is 10X easier to use. It is like a wax. Just rub it on. Let it haze. Then wipe it off. The Wolf's Glass Guard on the other hand has to be rubbed in very good then left to sit for 10-15 minutes. Both of them were wiped off using Adam's Glass Cleaner and glass towel. It hasn't rained much here lately, but as soon as it does I will take a video of all of the glass beading while sitting still and how well it sheets water while driving. Over the time that this stuff is on the glass I will also update this thread with how long it last. Well that's it for my application post. I'll keep you guys posted so watch this thread if you are interested. I just want to thank Phil for bringing the Wolf's stuff to America and Dylan for sending me this kit to review. Hope you guys enjoyed the review. Cheers. Keith |

Im very jealous you got the free glass kit. Im interested in seeing how well works, Ive seen the videos of Adam applying it and using the hose test but would like to see a video/hear about how well it works in a rain storm. Thanks for the update you lucky sob.

Nice man... I've heard really good things about wolf's so I'll be interested to see how ours holds up against it.

I'd like to see how the Wolf's Nano Paint Sealant compares to the Adams Machine Super Sealant. The You Tube videos that I have seen of the Wolf's product beading looks amazing. I bet you can't go wrong with either product though.

Can't really compare the two. It's like comparing apple to oranges. One is a nano coating that sheds dirts and blocks anything from sticking to the paint while the other is just a top coating that protects the paint but still allows stuff to get into the pores.

So the Wolf's nano coating would help keep my Camaro cleaner longer? I'm sold.

Yep. The nano coating cleans very easy with just water, but you need Wolf's Nano auto Bathe to keep it effective with each wash. You shouldn't use regular soaps on it.

I'll be interested to see if there's any difference. Adam's has always done great for me on my windows.
By the way, my bottle of Wolf's Body Wrap is still sitting on the shelf :( No time to apply.

I always use Adams soap and have a fresh gallon on the way. Would their soap end up removing the Wolf's product? I wouldn't think it would because of its overall wax friendliness.

It won't remove it. It will just make the coating not bead as good. The surfactants in normal soaps clog the nano particles in the paint making it harder to clean the coating. When the nano particles become clogged, it does't bead as well although the protection is still there.

That sucks man. It's really a dream to apply. It is just as east to apply as a wax. His video doesn't really show how simple it is lol.

UPDATE: I have had these videos ready for a while and just keep forgetting to post them or I haven't had time when I do remember. These are both holding up very well. They still sheet just like when they were applied. Doesn't really rain too much here. Both of them sheet at about the same speed. Adam's beads a little bit more than it sheets, but it still works very well. Wolf's makes big beads and runs off a little better at slower speeds.
Slow speeds: 35MPH Faster speeds: 56MPH top speed Overall at higher speeds they both work just as good as each other, I will just recommend Adam's because it is way easier to apply. If Wolf's last longer it will only change a bit. Last edited by Iomcamaro; 11-18-2011 at 03:02 PM. |

I've used the Adam's since it came out - been a year or more. I like my windshield wipers just fine... so I don't rely on the Sealant on the front, but for the side and rear windows - even mirrors.... I apply it religiously. It only lasts a few rains or til the next good car wash on my windows.
Think I have a vid somewhere of side window roll-off as well. I'll try to dig it up if anyone's interested.
