Hey guys, anybody with tints can you recommend a shop you got yours done at. Any shops to steer clear of?

I currently have an apt for The Tint Shop in edison, NJ seems like a good place was referred there from a few people. Open to any suggestions.

I had the tint for my old car done at Auto Image in Raritan, NJ (http://www.autoimage.com/) They have three different kinds of tint, I went with the 3M, which cost the most. They did a really good job, I had no issues with it at all. I forget the exact cost, but I think it was between 200-250.

I use Auto Image on Rte 18 south in East Brunswick. Used the 3m tint at 35% - also a great job. There are several locations in NJ. Check their website for all details. I also paid around 250 for mine.

Ment to ask, how are you guys doing with tints? Bothered much by the 5-0?

I had my car done at the tint shop in edison and they did a good job.

Had 20% all around on my last car for 2 years and I did not have any problems. I had PA plates on the car the whole time though. So eventho you can't legally have tint on the front windows in NJ, I'm guessing I didn't have any issues b/c they saw the PA plate. Might have been a different story if I had NJ plates, don't know. I have not gotten it done on the camaro yet.

Had mine done at Auto Image in Raritan as well. It was fine but because the windows index the driver side got f'd up because they didn't tint down far enough behind the weather stripping. Tried getting it redone since its a life time warranty but both times I went they never did it and gave me some bs excuse as to why. I figure I'm not their top priority since they already got their money out of me and the redo would be free so why bother trying to keep me happy.
