Noticeable inscrease in power with cold air intake?

I think my first mod will be a cold air intake. Looking at the BBK for the V6. My question is, is it really a huge noticeable increase in HP and torque? I would imagine it is, since most people on this site have one, but i just want to know what i'm paying for. Thanks

Just a cai wont add a bunch of HP. Injen (the one i have) i supposed to add up to 18hp peak but i really dont notice it. The sound difference is noticeable and is really the main investment to me until you do add more power mods.

The 2012 can't add headers because the 2012 Camaro 3.6L direct injection V6 engine combines the exhaust manifold with the cylinder head into a single aluminum casting.
Hence no headers...maybe room for a twin turbo though

The biggest difference I noticed with my SS was with throttle response improved greatly. Even if it doesn't add lots of power it helps with the performance of other mods by simply letting the engine inhale better.

Honestly is depends on the intake and the engine. From what I've seen in smaller engines, cai's effects are barely noticeable, but again it depends on the design. I don't know if Vararam makes an intake for the V6, but something like that should give you a little more go.

Btw, that headers thing is really ****ed up.

You'll gain a little power, but nothing that you'd notice. What you should notice, as mentioned, is increased throttle response.
