it would definately void your rust through warranty.... you will be opening it up to trap water inside the panels... It was not designed for them to be open...

vinyl or magnet!
Best approach would be to just black-out with vinyl-same type of material they use for rally stripes.....
I also thought of idea of getting same type of material used for those magnetic bumper stickers (black sheets of the stuff can be found on ebay very cheap), in black and cut to size....could be easily removed for cleaning, etc. |
