Whats up Ladies an Gents, Anyone know or have done any bussiness with these folks? Thinking of purchasing a car cover and heritage grille from them. Prices are good but concerned about some of there customer service policies! Any feedback would be helpful thanx!!

I've ordered several things without any issues whatsoever. Found the Customer service quite helpful actually...I'd recommend them no problem...

I ordered from them and did not get my part for 5 weeks and it was impossible to get a hold of them. The would respond to an email like 3 days after you sent it with a BS answer...ex..."we received your order and we will ship shortly" I will never order from them again. I would have gladly paid the extra $20 and got it from some where else. From now on I will stay away from any company that does not supply a customer service phone number. I will never order from them again. Apparently others have had good experiences, so do what you want.

My wife ordered the Heritage Grill and it took about 2 weeks to arrive. They had told her 3 to 5 days. No return on the part either if doesn't fit. Nice anniversary gift!

I have ordered from them as well, I did not have an issue with them. I have two GMparts vendors I use, they are the second one on my list so no issues.

Cheers

You need to tell the rest of the facts....one side doesn't always tell you everything you need to know.

If you email them to VERIFY a part fits your car first, and then it doesn't, you CAN return the part. Same way is if you order the correct part and they make a mistake and ship you the wrong part. PITA I know, but not everyone is a parts expert on the internet and if a lot of people waste time sending back stuff that doesn't fit because they didn't know what they were ordering, the price goes up to run the business. If you're in a hurry, then you're likely going to and willing to pay more somewhere else anyway, so spend your $$. I'm usually never in a hurry so it works out well for me.

I've used them for years. Like any business or anything, the more you use it, the more times something can go wrong. But overall I'm satisfied. Many people don't understand their business model, so they can't figure out why the shipping is so "high". But delivered price is what you need to look at. Sometimes they're the cheapest, sometimes they're not. But the GM parts all originate from the same place, so shopping with a few of the other folks can net you good deals too. But when you look at places like OEHQ or GMpartsgiant.com, those don't come close.

The best thing I've seen about them is when I'm at work on night shift, and I think about ordering a part at 2 in the morning, EVERY SINGLE website I've seen where you could order GM parts without emailing/talking to someone first has higher prices. NOBODY I've seen (even GMpartshouse.com) has advertised delivered prices as low as gmpartsdirect.com

They pretty much started the GM parts internet mass ordering years ago. Others have come in and offer to meet or beat their deals (after you talk to someone), so the competition is great in that it's a win/win for us all. Remember too, gmpartsdirect.com offers to try and price match/beat the competition too.

I'll continue to order from them until someone better comes along that meets my schedule.

I have been getting GM parts from them since 2002, never a problem.
Some items take longer to deliver as thay are drop shipped from GM directly. They will help locate the correct part number if you e-mail them a question and send a VIN as well.

I ordered the satin nickel fuel door and got it in 2 weeks. They had the best price for sure.

I've been ordering GM parts from them and from Scoggin Dickey too for about 10 years. No problems on dozens of orders...
