i saw a white G8 today and thought that the color looked awesome. is this the same white that they will be using on the camaro? i remember looking on the pontiac website a while ago and it has a different name, does anyone know how the pontiac white and summit white compare?

White was my first choice but there was no way I would have been able to wait til July to order

My dealer just told me I can order white end of this month or early May- I hope he's right.

I used to have a white Trans Am. It was OK but it was hard to keep clean, and someone commented it looked like a pimpmobile in white, which turned me off to that color ever since.

the summit white is the same color as on the HHR. btw, any type of metallic or pearl in a sports car white is just wrong. if you want your car to look like a lexus, go get a lexus.

btw btw, I changed my priority # today to stay in the system and change to summit white the 1st day the Workbench says it is available. dropping from #1 to # ???

I dont know if it's just me, but I think the Camaro looks great in white with the black door handles, mirrors and spoiler. I don't know why, but to me it just looks cool

i agree that pearl white probably wouldn't work on camaro.
the cops where i live have a bunch of white chargers, and i also white challengers and mustangs. I think that white works well with all of the new/retro cars.

I'm just a tad bit too anxious, SWHCPA, but I definitely was tempted to wait and get the Summit with IOM stripes. Awesome combo, but then too, I've never owned a black car before, so.....
