Stock sub and amp!
I have a new 2011 SS2 RS edition, I was told it had a stock sub and amp and I assume it does but I have been looking for it for a while not to hard but just vaguely looking. Does anyone know where it is?

It only has the sub if you paid extra for it. The amp is located on the drivers side of the back of the trunk. So basically it is to the left of the trunk opening and behind the carpetting.

I have a 2012 2SS and mine has 2 subwoofers. They are located under the top of the trunk right behind the back seat...

subwoofers are meant to only produce a low bass. are you guys just talking about the rear speakers mounted under back window?

the stock Boston Acoustics setup has 2 WOOFERS mounted in the trunk. The MTX system that includes 2 separate subwoofers, is a dealer-installed option and it hooks directly into the stock system.
