Can we spect a good increase in power with a tune and CAI?
Seeing how the Camaro will have an electronic throttle body do you think a 25-35rwhp increase will be possible?
This is common in the S197 Mustangs since flow is reduced fromt he factory god knows why.

Do you mean EXPECT?
And, possibly. Its not going to have the effect that it would on a lot of other tuned cars (had a friend get 30HP with CAI on a MS3) but i wouldn't be suprised about 10-15hp increase.

Yeah I meant Expect. lol
I was just wondering everyone in the mustang scene was surprised to see those numbers, which were due to the factory throttle body only pushing 80% of the air its capable off from the factory tuning. Some with after market throttle bodies even got to a 45rwhp increase. So I was wondering if maybe we'll see similar increases on the camaro.

Check this out, http://www.g8board.com/forums/showthread.php?t=13805
Seems Livernois got 38rwhp and 35rwtq out of the GXP with just an intake and tune. Damn I can't wait for my car!

IDK but we'll be finding out soon enough though.
BTW, nice car you have there!

I think getting rid of the little nannies like Torque Management will go a long ways to go faster too; at the expense of the driveline, I suspect, after a while, but you'll go faster. I remember reading a review of a stock G8 GT going from mid-13s to bottom 13s with only a tune... I don't see why we wouldn't see gains somewhere around there with similar mods'.
