Up to you. I have manual as I only drive 16 miles a day in traffic so no big thing. Also it is more fun then the Auto IMO as I traded my 2ltrs A6 in for this one. You really need to way all pro's and cons, what you will use it for etc and decide.

Pros:
Faster
Way more fun
Not painfully boring to drive
Gives you an excuse not to let some people drive your car

Cons:
Renders cupholders useless

I'll most likely have the camaro up on craigslist tomorrow, need to make room for the new M6 ZL1 I'll be getting.

i keep debating this in my head.

Auto:
400 hp
6.2L
ease
Displacement On demand
better gas mileage
DOD can get annoying with exhaust
Tap Shift

Manual:
426HP
6.2L
fun to drive in open traffic
True LS3

I personally have never owned a manual vehicle so that is why its hard for me to say I want one. But Im always told i would love driving the manual better then the auto once I got used to it.

Same time I have heard more horror stories with the manual trans then automatic

haha, these are funny threads. for sport's/muscle cars, i will always buy a manual, even if it is sometimes a pain in the ass. sedan or truck or any other car and i'll easily settle with an auto. these cars are for fun, so IMO the more you can be involved in the driving process, the more the fun. ls3 over l99 a big plus.

Had to fight this battle aswell, it came down to the 26HP and feeling that a muscle car is ment to be shifted. It is a visceral connection between you and your machine. I chose the manual for that reason, but if this was a daily driver (in traffic) I might go auto. I also hate the concept of active fuel management.

Hmmmmmmmmmmm. Driven week-ends for pleasure...lets see now, pushing in a clutch with tired feet & legs, working the ligiments in those frail elbows and wrist, just another day of laborous tasks, why not just stay at work..............Why freind its a easy choice, let the car do the shifting while you sit back and relax in the comfort of a automatic.....paddle shifting with the simple flick of a finger tip! Now what was your question ?????????? lmao
