Ride & Drives for Chevy training / Starting around the country

I am not a salesperson for our dealership; however, I convinced the owner that if I could do the "Camaro Ride & Drive" training, I would pay for it. ($100)

So April 23rd - if anyone wanted to see a whole bunch of Camaro's
Boxborough, MA at the Holiday Inn - Be there.

I will be there 8am-10am driving the Camaro with my HD camcorder in one hand.

8am - 3pm

Maybe if you try to ask your salesperson, you can find out where their "Ride & Drive" is, and maybe you can get a sneak peek.

You didn't hear it from me.....LOL

It's not a ride and drive - that's been cancelled. It's a show up, look, and learn...oh, and have a doughnut.

GM can't afford to truck camaro's all over for "training"...

I was going to have to hunt down the place they are doing this at around here. But I dunno if I will if they are not driven them.

If you are in chevy sales, you don't really need to go to this.....The trainers will be going around to the dealerships shortly after the training center sessions....

Boy I was really hoping they would do this in Indy. The place they rent is right down the street from me. One day saw a procession of about 30 HHR's when they were training on those. Also did the G8's there but only had about a dozen of those.

You'd think with the price increases to "particular colors" and accessories, that could be the least they could do, even if it is in selected areas. $100.00 a pop could be helpful too, Scott.

When you consider the price of paying drivers and fuel for those trucks, $100 a pop still puts them in the negative.plus the fact that,c'mon do people really need "training"? .If you need training to sell a car that sells itself that is pretty pathetic. That's like saying a dunkin donuts employee needs training for the latest chocolate sprinkle donut that comes out in two months

Not only that the salespeople will have a chance to drive and learn the options when they get the cars on their lots. They can read and play around with them and learn a lot I would think.

Well as Scott stated it isn't really "training" pre-say, "orientation program" would probably be more accurate. Lots of bitching about dealers/sales people's ignorance here, so this is where they learn about their product.

Justmeron beat me to it!

When they did the HHR's and G8's they also had a few of the competitors cars for comparison. With the G8's they had a couple of Chargers, and Infinity and one or two others.
