L99 Donut? Burnout?

Sup everyone,

So im wondering if you can do donuts without screwing up something on the car because i read with the six banger if u do you'll screw up the water pump. Is that the case with SS? Also for burnouts do you simply deactivate the TC?

If you do too many donuts with the wheel cranked, you can burn up the power steering pump. Other than that, short of hitting something, I don't see anything getting damaged.

As for burnouts, just turn off the traction control and mash the GO pedal. If you want, you can hold the brake to keep the car in place for a great smoke show.

high rpms held for a long time is always bad. but these cars are pretty much built for it. just dont do it everyday and have fun. in a safe place, not the high school parking lot please, dont need to see that story next week.

press and hold the traction contol button until both orange lights on the tach come on, takes a minute but it makes the car stupid, stupid fun!

Yeah, the first week I had the car, did that going around a corner. Gets exciting real fast! Not as crazy as my Mustang got, but still a fun ride.

Hold T/C button down for 7 seconds and it will shut off T/C & Stabilitrak. Turn wheel but do not crank it all the way over to lock. (burn up your power steering pump) mash pedal. These cars really show off well burning out in a turn. Straight line burnout in an L99 is not anything spectacular. You can but, you won't get a big smokey burnout without a brake stand in the stock autos straight line.
