Help save Kansas City International Raceway
Copied from a friends post off another forum, never been there, but I hate to hear of any drag strip going away...
Kansas City International Raceway is in trouble. It's a long, politically-driven issue, but there's a substantial push back by the local racing community. If you would like to help save the track from being converted into a park, please consider signing the petition on the link below. I grew up going to that track and haven't even been since I got this camaro. Lots of memories track has been open since 1967!
I took second place in the high school drags when I was 17 in my 1979 z-28, I have been hooked on drag racing ever since!

I just signed it. I hate to see any raceway get closed down and turned into a park. The local raceway here shutdown for years due to finances and was up for sale for a long time. Someone finally reopened it this year and it has started to regain its importance slowly.
