Pix from the NY Auto Show

NY AutoShow Pix
In the first pix notice how they put two brackets in the Camaro's door sills - I assume it helps keep the door from sagging over time and eliminates potential for rattles, pretty good idea! And possibly to help the door's integrity in the side impact tests. The 2nd picture is of the chassis. Everything is well up into the frame and neatly tucked away. 4th pic is Victory Red, 6th is the IOG.
At the end is a cut away of the V6 (didn't see any 8 cyl cut aways) and a ZR1 with RS and SS in background. Second to last is the Solstice coupe, it would be about $30k+ optioned like it is - compare that to the Camaro's at a much lower price. The Solstice is really tight inside.
Last (as it should be) is the dash"bored" of the Chally - compare that to the Camaro - right above it - no comparison!

Nice photos, and thanks for pointing out those tidbits for us. I had not noticed the brackets in the door sills.

Very nice, KJS! Thanks.
In the fifth pic, why does that guy have his hand in his pocket?.....just wondering
In the sixth pic I couldn't help but notice how you can hardly see the mufflers on that SS. Maybe the angle just isn't low enough.
The Solstice... IMO
And finally, if nothing else, at least the Camaro's interior is different!!!

5th pix Hhhhmmm - probably couldn't control his emotions - LOL!
The mufflers were right above the camera, so it was just out of the lens view.
I was trying to spend time and focus on aspects that haven't been mentioned before and it you can tell the engineers paid a lot attention to details and tolerances.
