rotors with most drilled holes?

I would like to exchange my stock ss rotors to rotors with lots of drilled holes. I like the brembos, but they are damn expensive. The cheaper brands usually have much fewer and smaller holes.

Can anyone recommend some good rotors that looks like the ones in the brembo big brake kits?

What's the point of more and bigger holes? And what is the correlation between the amount of holes in the rotor and it's performance?

Not really looking for performance. I don't drive it hard. I just want it to look the way I like it.

The more/bigger the holes the more heat that can be dispersed through them. In theory.

I second that! You can even get their black zinc plated ones for an even more unique look.

In addition to the the build up of dissipating gases. Keep in mind this almost never applies to a street car. Consequently, the more of these "holes" that you have decreases the surface area of the rotor and the subsequent contact area of the brake pad, also increasing the chance of stress fractures in the rotors themselves. They look nice, but you have to take into account reliability and design principle

Not necessarily. The R1 rotors are the same weight as the stock rotors.

Looking like a Brembo and being a Brembo are very different animals.

I'd stay far away from that. That's how much a set of ceramic pads costs alone...

I love my R1 Concepts drilled and slotted. I, like you, did it mostly for looks when I upgraded to the Brembo calipers. I don't race my car or anything, but the car does stop on a dime with my setup now, and I'm quite pleased with it.

If you're curious I also have the Hawk Ceramic pads and Pedder's SS lines with ATE Blue DOT4

Fixed.

Oh, you thought the side rotor holes are what cools rotors? Think again.
