Needed: Tampa Tuning to test HP Tuners platform - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

The lastest BETA version on HP Tuners is supposed to be able to read the V6 ECM. Does anyone in the Tampa have a 2012 V6 camaro that I can use to test. I wont make any changes ( unless you want me to ), but I want to see if I can retrieve the data, and save the file. If I can save it, that means I can change it and start tuning 2012 V6 Camaros. For you 2010-2011 kids, we are still in a holding pattern.

Well happy for the 2012 guys hope someone steps up soon for em. I think it says alot how fast they got a 2012 beta out, not a good sign for the LLT gang.

At least I am happy for the Delphi 12 guys. I knew hp wasn't going to be too far away since efi had tuning available since day one.

GM is using a differant PCM with the 2012s. I need to collect a couple samples and send them to HPT.

Yhea, they are using delphi. I'm sure someone will help but LLT still rules. Tell HP that

Maybe when they see the demand from the 2012's, it will motivate them to develop the platform for the 2010-2011. They are focused on the new release of HP Tuners 2.24, then they can move forward.

last time i checked my numbers... 10 and 11 came before 12, damn i must have gotten mixed up somehow... shoooot!

I been keeping track of HP on their forum for the last couple month on this V6 LLT support and I think it was their head engineer name chris who mentioned plenty of times that we was going to be supported after they release 2.24 but how in the hell did they go pass the whole 10-11 and go to 12 like amarr said

You have Hypertech, and now IPF, so I don't get how a company like HP is having such a hard time finding a way to support one of the most popular vehicle in it's class. I think I can understand a little, at least from what I been reading on their forum that getting around the binary files on these bosch unit is not easy and nothing like delphi or others and that they just have to crack the WHOLE ecm 100% or it can't be considered HP tuners

So again, from what I been reading on their forum it sound like they have found a work around for our ecm but they don't have the time or manpower to get on with it but they have time for malibu's and minivans as their new supported release lol. I didn't know peoples tuned traverses and malibus

or it must of have been a push of a button type of easy lol.
