The CA Dragway is open for the last race day of 2011. Gates open at 6am, racing from 9am - 5pm. Weather should be great for racing.....low 60s.

Exactly......forecast says 60 for a high and 38 for a low. 9am race time will likely be high 40s - low 50s.....

with the cold weather mph will be nice, but traction will suffer.

Damn it I won't be able to make it out. Won't have time to prep the car tonight (swapping tires to DRs and taking stereo equip out).

Fo Sho! I need to get a better time than 11.65. I want low 11s so I have to get a roll bar. Lol. I know the car is capable, I just need more practice launching.

When I go Forged in a fee months and go bigger cam, and more TQ, I want mid 10s. Hopefully by Spring time.

Weather was nice a cool, but VERY windy! Winds were at least 20 mph with 40+ gusts at times from the southwest. Would've been a GREAT if not for the winds.......traction was actually very good! I only ran twice today (had to be at a very special 6 year old's b-day party).

First run started good, but got squirrelly when I banged 2nd, so I had to get out of it, then back on the gas:
