2012 LT1 1,500 miles check engine on

driving on interstate 75mph light came on called onstare said it is a bad oxygen senser bank 1 #2sensor WT$ it runs great dealer said they have to hook up laptop to it cause its globel. is there a reset like the older ones?

No reset on the newer models. It should be covered under warranty. Bring it to your local chev dealer to verify onstar report. Onstar has been very accurate.

Some parts fail due to being mass produced. Some of the bad ones do slip thru inspection processes. The part will be replaced at no cost. Hopefully your dealer can hook you with a rental car while yours is being fixed. Take it in first thing in the morning. So you can get it back by the afternoon!!

well my car has been in shop x3 and light still comming on with same code i think im gonna take it to a deffereant dealer

I'm sorry to hear you've had to take the vehicle in so much. A different dealer should be the ticket. Often times it's a fresh set of eyes that does the trick in these kinds of situations. Let us know how things go for you.
