I traded my LT for a 2SS. I currently do 40 miles round trip to and back from work. Im doing no more than $280 in gas a month. Its my DD an worth it too since i carpool also. None of that stop and go, well sometimes.

Same car. Slightly less on mileage, loads more on power. It's all good

My 2011 2SS just got it's winter wheels and this is winter number two. It rocks all year round just fine. Enjoy your Camaro dude, it's new!

i have seen plenty of people get decent MPG and such. whats great about the v8 is that it has low end power and you dont need to rev it out to feel the power when driving through the city.

That's what I don't like about the v6 you have to rev to 3k before you feel it even with the vmax porters throttle body

even with mods you will always have to rev more, its the nature of the engine. American v8s have always been known for having lots of low end torque.

one thing people overlook when switching from a v6 to a v8. is that yes you gained like 100HP, but you are gaining more torque than HP. i think its like 120-130 torque rating increase to a LS3 SS might be more actually . which is a LOT of torque and you are going to feel it.

I drive mine daily, and. It because I have to... It's a great daily ride. (even after the drop springs)

I don't see the 02 going back to DD duty any time soon

3200 works pretty well for getting ahead of traffic, casually

as mentioned above, you don't have to rev it that high for the power. I'm actually getting similar or the same mileage as my v6 because of that. it's not like you gotta step on the pedal each time..well after you get it outta your system the first weeks or so..

the ss makes a perfect daily driver. even when highly modded i drove mine everyday for a few years at 530 hp with not one issue . that stopped 2 weeks ago as im trying to keep the miles from adding up and the fact that i needed a truck. so it got parked.
