No garage and want to warm your car up? EASY..

If you are like me and do not have a garage. Want to warm it up without worrying about it being stolen. Also, like today for example, you wake up and snow is everywhere

Items needed:

Smartphone..
Onstar Remote Link app (free)

Start your car, turn your heat on, go to the remote on the app, press lock and enter your code...your locked

When you are ready to leave for work or whatever.. just hit the unlock and enter your code. Your doors are now unlocked

That's all folks!

PS. Some people already know this ,but some do not. Just being helpful

I don't think so. Sounds like he is talking about getting in car and starting it, then locking it with onstar and going back inside to wait.

I can only speak about the 11s. If you have the auto you can remote start your car. Not available on the manual.

LOL.... this is only helpful for those of us ( ) who have 2011s with remote start

But you CAN get remote start installed on your car for about $400! I'm told the Camaro is one of the most difficult vehicles to do it on.

You can have remote start installed on an M6 also btw. It's aftermarket but can be done.

Not true... My friend has a remote start on his truck and it's a stick... plenty of places around here will do it
