Got terminated
No racing on my part.
A 2005 + Mustang Cobra pulled up next to me at a red light last night going home, and started revving his engine. I could here him tell the girl in the car with him how the Camaro would never stand up to a Cobra and that I was just driving a SS POS and he was going to show her. Light turns green and off he goes tires spinning. I just let him go. First I don't have an SS. Second I don't street race. If he had caused a problem it would been all him. You Mustang Guys need to take it to the track please.

There is no such thing as a 2005+ Cobra. GT500 came out in 2007. Last Cobra was a New Edge model made in 2004. I had a 4th gen SS Camaro last night drive next to me in 2nd gear at 40mph, and he kept accelerating and slowing down, trying to get me to race him. It is YOU Camaro guys that need to take it to the track :-) Good job on being responsible though.

We all need to take it to the track...there are complete idiots behind the wheels of Mustangs, Camaros, Challengers, Corvettes, Ferraris (See Japan), Mini-vans, Prius, Soccer-mom mobiles...you name it.
Be careful out there and do NOT add to the stupidity by street racing.

You know what's really funny, when I first got my 5.0, I had all kinds of people pull up next to me at light, some alone, some with girls. None of them ever said anything rude or stupid like that. Even a few guys in Camaros would say "That the new 5.0?", and I'd say yes, and then they would ask if I've been to the track or how it drives, or how I like it, or why I picked it over a Camaro...just normal guy talk...nobody ever went "That car sucks. I'm gonna show it up." Where do you find these people? lol I even had a 30 minute conversation with an SS owner at a gas station a few months back about our cars. Never once was either one of us condescending or mean spirited about anything. If anyone ever does that, they have more issues in their life than thinking they have a superior car, because people will do that just out of pure insecurity. Also, I'm sure that anyone who is worth anything and driving a Cobra can tell the difference between a V6 and an SS, and a Termi racing a V6 would be just like He-Man kicking a puppy.

 2005 Cobra....SS...looks like FAIL on both sides. I gotta say though, you have bionic hearing if you heard him say all that to his passenger over the engine revving, etc.

Ive never had another muscle car next to me and rev. Did have a POS older truck(1985 -1995) rev with some annoying sounding exhaust. Might of been straight pipes point is it sounded horrible. I was in my SS with my Fiancee's cousin coming back from the store and this character pulls up. I thought about shutting that clown up but realized do i really want waste a 1/4 of my tank? I would of smoked him. No need on wasting my time on a small fry.
