? for you with the Ground Effects Package.

Well I guess it was inevitable but I took my car out for the last time of the year, before a wash and winterization.

As I pulled into the parking spot I drug/scraped the front ground effect over the top of the curb, fortunatley it didn't hit head on and brake anything just kind of skimmed over the top of the curb.

I do have PFADT lowering springs which certainly didn't help.

How many of you guys have had the same problem, either with or without the lowering springs.

Picture shows the stance of my car, the damage wasn't major actually could have been alot worse if it would have hit head on.

Yup, I've done it several times to mine. Still wince every time, but you have to get under the car to see the scratches. I have Pedders Xa's lowered about 1 1/2 inches. But I always park well back of the cement curbs and parking lot stops if they look like they're more than 6" high to avoid hitting the front spoiler. Anything lower than 6" the front will clear the curb.

no lowering springs on mine. But one time I parked mine next to a raised side walk and when I got out I saw that I had like a 1/4 inch of clearance. Bout made me do something terrible in my pants.

I didnt have many problems with my gfx. I did scrape the tip of the front lip on a steep driveway, but it usually made it over parking curbs and stuff. Then again, Im used to driving a super low Supra, lol. Now with lowering springs, I just watch and make sure I dont go park my car as close to the parking curb as I used to.

Gotta give curbs/parkstops PLENTY of room dude. Even if you happen to clear the curb, it could still grab your air-dam and cost you $2k to fix

My car has a 1" drop on her.

I only have the side and rear GFX. I took off the front because of scraping issues.

I'm lowered 1.5".

I've had this issue. Drive it like you're parking a truck and keep away from the curb and you'll be fine. They even almost weigh the same

And if you have to go up a curb, do it at an angle.
