Another TR6060 with 2nd gear grind
Took mine in to have the dealership look at it after a few months of the occasional grind. Even the cluth pedal has been sticking on occasion. And wouldnt you know it so far they cant reproduce the grind.... go figure.

I have had multiple customers lately buying upgraded transmissions from us because their dealership either can't reproduce their issue or replaces the trans with a new unit and it still does the exact same thing. If you get tired of the dealership run around and want to solve the problem please feel free to let me know.

Try a different dealer or even contact GM if you have to.

They cannot reproduce the issue, imagine that, I got to go in today and drive it with the service manager. Anyone have a number for GM that I can call? Another dealership isnt looking like an option.
And if all else fails, RPM I will be looking into getting this right! |

I even printed out all the articles here and took it in to them, They just tossed the papers in the passenger seat and ignored it all...... Dealerships are living up to their name of just sell it out the door and forget about the customer...

Called the warenty number that is located in the back of the owners manual. I have reported the issue and after my drive today with the service manager, they are doing a follow up. If the issue does not happen with the dealer they are supposed to get with me to resolve this. Will keep everyone updated.

Service manager did nothing. Basically said everyone here just doesnt like the design of the tranny and wants free upgraded parts with the new carbon syncro's.
I have been directed to the regional manager for the warrenty issue and should receive a phone call by tuesday. |

yeah the design sucks... that's why GM updated the syncros... if GM wants to shoot themselves in the foot again they should keep fighting customers over this issue instead of just going in and fixing the problem.
