Not sure if you can see it clearly, but the LED pokes through the hole just enough to fit a vinyl ring over it and it holds it pretty tightly. The other cup holder (towards the rear of the car) was more trouble. Probably only because I was lazy and didn't take the center area apart, but I had to fully cover the LED in the tubing and make the hole bigger enough to fit it all snugly inside.

Splice into any 12V power source. Or plug into existing plugs if your car is an early enough model.
