I had ordered one of the Inferno orange metallic cars, but did not like having the orange panels in the car which left it with the blueish interior ambiant lighting.

I got a chance to sit in the my dealer on a sales conference with GM and they confirmed that the Inferno orange metallic cars will have orange interior ambiant lighting even if they did not opt for the interior color package

Well you mean ones with ABL ordered. Not like stock LS without, cause IOM covers all models.

Wait... so even if a car has black interior it will still have orange lighting? This is the first I've heard of this.......... I'm not sure how I feel about that......

he is saying if you bought a IOM car, and didnt get the IOM interior it will still have orange ABL inside. thats what i gathered anyway

If thats the case, then i would feel happy for those who have order the IOM with black leather, i ordered it with the IOM trim so im happy anyuways, i wonder if we can confirm this somehow

P.S its more of a red-orange,
I wonder if they give IOM red rings arounf the gauges as well ?
Probably not, because they would have to do that with the Red cars too.

Understood. But I have always been under the impression they'd get the blue lighting like all other cars with ABL and non-IOM interior. Can we get a confirmation?

I am going to be experimenting with some "EL Wire" soon. You can get Orange too. And then that can be put just about anywhere and controlled with a switch.
