I got pulled over about an hour ago, for speeding. 95mph in a 65mph zone. Cop says i will be deducted 12 points. But in the ticket, it does not show how fast i was going, he said i was doing 95, but if there is no proof, can i fight it somehow? I mean, if he didnt catch me with the radar, there is no proof i was going that fast right? Is there anything i can do about this? I checked the dmv website, and for my state, New Mexico, it says if you get 12 points in a year they might revoke your license, and im a used car salesman, so i need my license for my job. Anyone with legal experience please help! Thanks in advance.

P.S. i love my camaro. I want to be able to drive it legaly!

Get a lawyer ... Get a receipt stating that your speedometer was never calibrated to your aftermarket wheels . Just throwing that one out there Not sure if it works but you never now . desperate times require desperate measures !!!

It says the speed where he wrote in extreme Rate of speed ! Lol..

You signed the ticket where it is written out that he clocked you at 95 and you replied "I know". I think you have no leg to stand on unless he specifically HAS to fill in that space where it asks for speed and posted limit on the ticket for it to be valid in court. Call a lawyer for a consult. It may be money well spent to see if you have a case.

Hmmm. Well in the description, it says that he came up to my door and said i was goin 95 and that i said "i know", do u think they will consider that as me sayin im guilty? It also says on ther that he saw me going at an extreme rate of speed, but he never wrote that he clocked me at 95

It's a careless driving ticket, not a speeding ticket. And you saying "i know" is an admission of guilt

You need to learn how to talk to cops bro, never admit anything other than you may have been going a little fast, and your plate is always "open to interpretation"

I read the ticket then realized your plate said riding dirty and almost spit my drink out thinking you really might be screwed !
