Tune Advice - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

I bought the Trifecta Tune from BNR because of the special that was going on. For those who already have the tune, what can actually be tuned? I know the tranny shifts can be firmed up on the autos (i have an automatic). What else can I request? What have you guys asked for on your tune?

You have an aftermarket intake and exhaust and a ported TB. That's enough to change your engine performance a bit.

They sent me an email asking if I have done any modifications. But, I want to know what else I can ask for. Are there different levels of the transmission tune? What about the ghost cam? What have other members requested/what is possible on the tune?

Jerry sent me my tune with the trans as stiff as it can while being safe. I also asked for the ghost cam originally, but did not like it due to a remote start grinding. I also asked for the rev limiter removed, and the cam phasing that is standard with the tune to give some hp.

I would tune out the 4 cylinder mode and move the RPM shift points to 6200 RPM. If you look at the speedometer, the red line is at 6200 but stock, it shifts at 5800.

v6 doesn't have 4 cyl mode, just the 8.

Is the speedometer calibration only if I have different size tires than stock?

Its for the gears, say if you went from 3,25 to3.55 , 3.73 etc , I went from 18 to 20' on my tires s with no need for a speedo fix

And gears as well. but its all about tire size the stock tires measure up to be 28.7 inches tall so if you go with a little wider tire you may not quite be able to get the exact same height so your speedo would be off.

Ok i have a ? can the trifecta tune calibrate larger tires like say you went with a 255\30\22 or a 255\25\24 ? thinking of getting this tune wanted to know.
