As far as I know, red or blue lights cannot be displayed on the front of a non emergency vehicle while operating on public roads in any state.

red lights are a big no no, blue are ok as long they do not flash, but it really comes down the cop, he can ticket you for a number of things. amber and white is always ok.

We use ours with orange on (in WA state) all the time. We have a setting for just white. Haven't tried driving around with anything else.

In Texas red can not be on the front. No light can be flashing other than blinker.

This is per our member who is with DPS. He has blue halos on his camaro.

In Florida you need to check your state laws.

I think if you are in a parking lot and you go into a store you can have them on because your not driving? Don't quote me on that though. But I think I'm right. Anyone else agree?

in the state of florida, blue and red are completely illegal to have on any civilian vehicle, flashing or not. Purple is only allowed for funeral escort vehicles. Flashing white and green/amber are only allowed for security cars, wreckers, and construction.

Flashing lights are prohibited on vehicles except as a means of indicating a right or left turn, to change lanes, or to indicate that the vehicle is lawfully stopped or disabled upon the highway or except that the lamps authorized in subsections (1), (2), (3), (4), and (9) and s. 316.235(5) are permitted to flash. ----- which are the ones i mentioned above.

so basically everything is illegal by the book. it just depends on the cop.

But you can have all these lights if you are parked or use it at a car show. the law does not state that you can't have these lights installed, it just states you cant use them while moving.

laws are pretty tricky and even though the books states those words, the cop can still give you a ticket or arrest you for impersonation a law enforcement officer.

i do think AAC has the color shift to switch to white when you drive and the other colors while you show off.

I live in Ohio, and the other day I was data logging my car with no front bumper, and red halos on. Cop drove right by me looking at my car, and continued on haha. Gotta love cops who don't care...

White and Amber (orange) are legal but if you have any doubt about the color that you want to have on I would contact your local DMV because every state is a little different.

i saw a blacked out mustang with one of the best sounding engines guessing at about 750hp with red halo lights running on the road one day just before dark...all i'm gonna say is its so sexy looking if i had red halos i'd run them to...but its illegal so i'm gonna say you should only use them at shows or when parked. and yes it was so sexy it wouuld be worth running them even at risk of impounding vehicle!! ya its that sexy

I forgot to turn mine off at a feed store last night while picking up some supplies and came out to three of the guys that work there taking a video of the car. LOL. So I gave them something to video! (the lights...the flashing lights...)
