Price Increase After Ordering
I haven't seen this discussed anywhere before...
I am shopping for financing, so, to get accurate numbers, I talked to my dealer about what the out-the-door-price is going to be for my Camaro. He gave me a total cost that was good at the moment. He said there is always a chance that there will be a price increase. I said that I ordered on 10/13/08, why should I incur an increase? He said it isn't likely, but anything's possible. Can a dealer really do that? I thought I remember reading that October orders wouldn't be subject to any increase, including April's. |

There was a price increase, but it was minimal. However, the pre-orders were to receive price protection on their orders. But at the end of the day, the dealer can charge you whatever they want if they are so inclined (and if they are a bad dealer).
