It doesn't look that bad. If it can rip off consistent 13.00 runs then it can still do better.

I wonder if during the vid they were using launch control or had any of the other "computer" driving systems engaged.

No wheel hop during the burnout though....LOL

Wow - I read the comments on the site after watching the viseo and there are a lot of ignorant people out there.

The GTO's had that problem once they were modded for more power but there is some bushings on the rear differencial mount that could be changed from rubber to polyurethane and it helped a bunch. I dont know if the rearend in the camaro is mounted the same way.

Not really sure that was wheel hop, looked and sounded more like traction control. If it was wheel hop it would have been evident on the burnout too.

That last trip around the skid pad was awesome!!!!

thats my 2 cents

The GTO's had that problem PERIOD- modding or not. My 04 was TERRIBLE. The Pedders suspension (bushing) set was the most common fix.

That's not wheel hop...that's the driver feathering the throttle to maintain traction.

First of all let me say that that is NOT wheel hop. EVERY car is going to make that noise as the tires strive to get traction.

Now, please allow me to single handedly squash any future comments/gripes/concerns about wheel hop.

This is a video of the new 2010 Mustang. Fast foward to 2:39. Then compare that burnout to the burnout here (original post link):

Sounds like there's a bunch of new guys on here that don't actually know what wheel hop is. Moral: STOP YOUR BITCHING!

Holy crap! It looks like the wheels are about to fly off that Mustang! THAT'S WHEEL HOP.

The SS has nothing like this in the video!
