2011 Camaro SS vs 2007 BMW 335i
How do you guys think a 2007 bmw 335i stock, (manual), would do against my 2011 camaro ss l99 with borla atak exhaust and k and n cold air intake. I rode in the 335i and it really didnt impress me, felt like it had no torque.

they do around 13.3 stock so you should win pretty decently if you can drive well or unless he sucks at driving than you will just win by alot more.

He has a lighter car and smaller wheels. I wouldn't be so quick to think that you will beat him. A tuned 335 with nothing more than ECU flash will dust you. Stock it's probably a lot closer, but he's got a few advantages I'd think.

If he's stock, you'll win. If he's tuned, it will be close. If he's tuned and has supporting mods, it will be even closer, with the edge on the top end going to the 335.

They dyno 278 whp and 290 lb-ft..... So they are underrated but you will still win easily.

Stock for stock you win. JB3 and you get roasted. Personally saw a JB3 335i run down a CLS 55 then a Gallardo.

I own both. 2010 SS L99 A6 and a 2008 335i sport A6. The BMW is no joke 300hp and 300tq, inline 6TT. Haven't raced them, but SS should win, stock for stock.

A 52k car must be modded to beat your 33k stock camaro. You have the edge either way. He can tune his car, but then you can throw on some bolt on's and be at 500+ hp with out going f/i.

But he has a BMW and the OP has a Chevy. Hate all you want but different league of cars... sorry.
I'm not hating on either, I'm just saying its not always about power. I'm sure an SS camaro would smoke a Bentley but is there really a comparison?

Coming from an E46 M3 I disagree. My SS has all the features the m3 had except color nav screen. Unlike 10 years ago, american cars are matching european cars in performance, technology, and quality in recent years. I have had zero problems in my camaros for the lasy 2.5 years, which is more that I can say for thr 5k in maintanence I paid on my M3 over a six month period. Not trying to start an argument just sharing my point of view.
