Poll: Most Funnest Car Owned?
Just wondering what is the mostest funnest car you have owned overall? I have only owned one bonifide muscle car in my life but have driven a few back in the day. One memorable one was a 69' 390 Mustang 4 on the floor. It was kick ass fun. I owned a 69 Ply. 383 RoadRunner which was a thrill in a straight line. Just stomp on it and tires would screech for 15 or 20 feet. But as they aged the steering would get loose and sloppy in the old Mopars, I am sure those who have owned them would agree. Went to the junkyard twice because I couldnt afford a new steering gearbox and each one was also shot. So until the steering got sloppy My Roadrunner was fun...but it still is nowhere near as fun as my Camaro. The camaro is the complete package with speed, comfort and handling. Since my bolt on mods it will keep up with my RR because of better traction and gearing. The Camaro can't nowhere match the stump pulling torque, but with the 3 more gears than the Road runner it gets the power to the wheels more efficiently. Before my bolt on mods it could not touch the RR at least until we begin hit 75 or 80. Now it may even match it coming out the hole.

Definitely not the fastest, but I think the most fun I've ever had in a car was my '97 Camaro V6. I got it during my senior year of high school, so the good memories were probably mostly about the time period. But I really learned how to drive in that car...I was young and took a lot of chances, and I was lucky enough to survive. Trust me when I say a 200hp V6 and a 5-speed manual can get you in PLENTY of trouble. It was blue, had a flowmaster exhaust, so it sounded pretty good for a V6. Dark tinted windows. I had a lot of 'firsts' in that car....lol

Like others have said, while not the fastest, our 2004 RX-8 we had was a blast to drive.

Verts: '71 Chevelle 307 auto, '71 Barracuda 225/6 auto (yes, they made them), and '71 Lemans 350 w/Hurst 3-speed were lots of fun until each one, in turn, rusted out.
The most fun is my current 2011 Camaro vert, it's the whole package - all that those cars wished they could have been and more. Not to mention its new screaming orange paint! Even if they did make it, I could have never afforded a car like OrangeVert back when I couldn't keep a real job and could only afford other people's throwaway cars. Take that, 1977-83! Today's car is definitely the most fun, and I hope I live a long time to enjoy it. :-)

I have two favorites. My 83 z28 with a worked 350 that ate new mustangs all day long. I loved that car but the body was Swiss cheese so I had to let it go. I put the motor in my 86 then it developed a rod knock and at the time I did not know much about motors so it got junked :/.
My second favorite was my 90 cavalier z24 5spd with the 3.1 v6. Man that car was quick gave a lot of higher end cars a run for their money It was untouchable off the line until about 60 then it fell on its face. That car was another rust victim. The passenger side door literally fell off when the frame rotted away. Sad day.

i've only owned two cars. right now, my 2012 v8 camaro and before that it was a 2011 v6 camaro :P my SS is definitely more fun to me than the 1LT i had. there are two other cars i have driven a lot and they're my parents cars. a toyota tundra and a vw golf. out of those i'd have to say i had a lot more fun driving the vw. it's a manual and the car i learned to drive stick shift in, my mother taught me. memories! definitely fun, i love driving a manual.

I will definitely have to say the 89 Camaro LTRS i had in high school. It was a 2.8 v6 and that ride was plenty of fun. Got my first and only speeding ticket but i did risk it a lot more back then as i used drag with my other buddies who had Camaro's too. Some had Irocs others had 67 mustangs it was fun. Did so much crap in that car that i now regret. But without further ado smokey takes the title now. And i havent started with the power mods yet.
