Sinister hood vs MPD Ram Air?
Just wondering what the main differences between them are? They look pretty close to me, maybe the MPD has a taller opening?
I know the Sinister hood is cheaper ($750 compared to $880 for MPD). MPD said they can take installments on the price, which helps out a lot for me, not sure if the Sinister hood vendors have that option. Vendors/Owners chime in?

it might be the angle, but I like the MPD.I don't imagine they come painted for that price

Nope they don't come painted for that price. I've been quoted around $350 for painting the hood. Just wondering if there are any major differences anyone has seen.

mpd hood is taller and the opening comes to a point, it goes with the lines of the car a lot better. Not to mention Eric hand makes all of his stuff, and it's GREAT quality.

I think I like the MPD one because it comes to a point and that it's hand crafted. Plus the people from MPD seem like pretty cool people so far.

i agree with most, i ordered mpd and should ship end of month..i like the way it matches the mailbox slot angle...imo, does not look right with 1 slot having a angle opening then having a hood opening slot that goes straight across side to side..
