1LS Rim Lip Modifications
So in the process of purchasing a 1LS in Victory Red. It comes with the black steel wheels with the silver 2piece lip cap.
Has anyone painted that to match the car or modified that in any specific way? I actually like the black steel look, just wondering what it would look like with different color lips. Not sure if Red is the way to go but maybe black or something. If I just paint it black I'll probably do it myself, the victory red I'll take to a body shop to have them throw a coat on.

I've seen the lip painted synergy green to match the camaro it was on, looked good. in my opinion victory red lip with the black center will look great.

Could be a cool low dollar upgrade.

I've seen them painted both black and red on other threads here, but some months ago and I don't have them bookmarked. Search doesn't always work well but it might be worth a try. I think both looked good

i "attempted" to paint mine tonight but running into a problem with the paint running cause it is on a bit of a slope its super frustrating i sanded it over and over again to smooth it out but would just keep happening let me know if you get it done and how. I had to have done something wrong cause i have painted other parts of the car with no problem but this 1 stumpd me

Well I ended up going with a Black Camaro so if I paint them I will be going black... but honestly they are so cheap and crappy I don't think I can keep them on the car.
