New guy here and want to share something

The 2012 camaro not only looks tough with its beefy exterior, but it can also take a hit like a champ. Safecar.gov has released its crash test ratings, and the sexy muscle car took the cake, achieving the best score in every test category.

Five stars were given to the Camaro in the front crash, side crash, and rollover tests for an overall rating of – you guessed it – five stars. The frontal barrier crash rating evaluates injuries to the driver and front passenger’s head, neck, chest and legs. An average-sized adult male driver dummy and small-sized adult female dummy were used in this test in which the Camaro hit a fixed barrier going 35 mph. Both the driver and passenger got a five star driver rating.

It’s the same story for the side crash test. The same dummies were used, but instead, injuries to the head, chest, abdomen, and pelvis were evaluated. A 38.5-mph intersection type crash was simulated, but both dummies again, came out unscathed with a 5 star rating. Passengers in the back seat will also ride safe; five stars were given for rear seat ratings. As for the rollover test, the Camaro yielded an 8.7-percent risk of rollover.

gobbs_stopper, ...OH btw....Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to Camaro5. There is a BIG fridge on the back porch with anything you can think of in it...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have. Make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom's, wive's, husbands and boyfriends here don't care....and take it easy.

oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here.
