Trade in for a 2LT for 2SS 45th edition!
Hello everyone,
Traded my 2011 A6 2LT RTJ for a 2012 A6 2SS 45th edition. I am really pleased. I loved my 2LT but the 2SS is in a completely different machine. Quick impressions are: 1. Not sure if it the FE4 tuning but the suspension is setup very well. Much more neutral than the v6, especially at speed. But it has a little more effort and maybe 10% harder riding. You can really tell with a quick blip around a corner. Yet, you can cruize down the highway all day in it. GM did a great job. 2. My mpg is about 1 to 3 mpg less than my v6 with 70% city 30% hwy. Same route. Not bad at all. 3. The dynamic nature of the the SS has a spilt personality . You can feather it around like a 4cyc or you can drop it in sport mode and its a very serious sports car. The v6 seemed to have just one personality if you will, it was slight more agressive than the the 4cyc mode...but close. Overall, Just a lot of car for the money. |

I did the same thing a few weeks ago (except came from a 1LT) and ended up with a black SS. The thing is a beast!! Enjoy all that new power
