cowl hood

Hey,
I have been on a list for a hood for two years, yes its one of the venders here. Its not going to be made anytime soon.
I could use any other inputs that you guys have on cowl hoods, I'm looking for one like the 69's came with. The one that I did find from MPD-1 is to tall and the inspecters will not pass it. Do you guys have any info on where/who has one like the 69? I don't want any openings other than in the back. Carbon/glass/steel/alum I don't care as long as it looks good. Please post a link so I can check it out. Thanks
