dont know, i DO know that on my car (99 Grand Prix) with the 3800 V6, there is some pretty bad reasonance with that engine with an open or aftermarket exhaust, but the fact that it is a 90 degree V6 has a lot to do with it, iirc the SIDI V6 in the camaro is 60 degree, so the reasonance should not be a problem.

I would imagine it would sound great at idle, but ur not going to get the v8 roar. Nothing makes a v6 sound like a v8 i dont care what anyone says.

If ur considering cutouts, try taking it to a shop, have them remove the muffelers, drive around the block. If you hate it dont get cutouts...lol

or wait till someone else gets cut-outs

If you haven't already put a cold air intake in. It may give it that edge that might lose it's "ricer" sound I'm gonna be testing that out as soon as I get my car back
