Disappointed with the dealership I picked.

So after hearing nothing from my dealership for almost a month after placed my order and called probably a total of 6 times in the past two weeks just to see if there was any movement on the order I finally got in touch with them yesterday.

To start the new car manager tells me the guy he assigned to my order only works 2-3 days out of the week and that guy was handling my order. Even though the new car manage told me he was going to handle everything personally. Between that information and everything that's happened informed them I would like my deposit back ( and since I signed no contract other than a print out of my order where the man drew a line and asked me to sign that).

Now I am getting the run around trying to get my deposit back. I love playing phone tag with the new car manager and the gm just to get my deposit back. And they're telling me I can't have my deposit back till the car itself comes into the dealership. If this wasn't prolonging me placing another order at another dealership I wouldn't be so upset.

Any suggestions or is what they're saying valid?

Thanks,

Jonathan

Ouch...If the order is in fact already placed and they cannot make any changes to it, it is not out of the ordinary for them to hold your deposit until the vehicle sells. The question then becomes IF your order is already that deep in the system, why not try to have a sit down with these guys and work things out. Like I've stated before, no matter how many times your dealer checks your order for you, it's not going to move any faster.

That's just bad buisness. Do they ever want to see you or your family & friends in the future. Do they know how how many people you are talking to online right now??? They can prob just change the order for another customer unless it's been pulled. What's the status code on the car Jonathan??

I dont think that car is going to be a morph and cant sell it to someone else. I ordered a 2SS for a customer and the car is built now and they are not going to take it. Who cares someone else would love to have the car it's really no big deal. We just pref to have them 100% sold before we get them.

email your dealer a link to this site/thread....and tell him you go public with his dealership info if you don't have your deposit back within 24 hours.

Please post the name of your dealer so that we know not to buy from it.

Send a message via Yahoo to PQ
It would seem to me that the dealer could sell it for over sticker now that it would be a lot car? Am I wrong on this?
