So I was driving today after putting gas in my car, 93 octane only. I was in some traffic and all of a sudden my TC/stabilitrack lights and my abs light comes on an my dash says Reduced Engine Power! So when I get to the red light I quickly shut my engine off and restart! Nothing, so I pull into the next available place an call onstar. They advise me my Fuel rail sensor is giving a code and bc of that the computer disabled TC/stabilitrack, an my ABS! So I drive to the dealer an they tell me its gonna take a lil while to fix, should be done by tomarow! Im not mechanically inclined so I have to wait and see what happened? Anyone have this happen or hear about anything like this? I have 11,076mi on her??

What's a fuel rail sensor? Does that indicate low fuel pressure?

Im not really sure... I think it distributes or regulates the amount of fuel being used?

sounds like you may have some bad gas.

idk? always go to good stations BP,Shell,Chevron and stick to 93!

Idk I read another post on here about the gas cap not on tight enough, I really hope my car didnt have to sit at the dealership overnite for something like that??? But the computer did throw a fuel sensor code....

Im with the guys above i would guess bad gas. Had the same thing in my SS. Ran it on the highway till she was empty. filled up at one of my normal stations. ran some fuel cleaner through it and reset the codes with my hypertech. Had the dealer double check everything when they did my last free oil change and she has been running fine since.

That gas station is now on my list of never agains.

Idk I use that station all the time. And idk why i use 93 in my LS , I just do...Even though the om says 87 is ok.... I jus go tha extra 20 cents cause i want the best for my engine. BTW stopped by the dealer at 930 am at 10 they finnally told me they re still diagnosing. Fuel pressure rail sensor???? Watever, I jus hope they dont have my car all weekend !

This had happen to me.

Had the car at the dealer for almost 2 weeks. Because they had to replace the whole entire wiring under the dash because for some reason they all burnt out.

At first the dealer was trying to blame it on my radar!! Lol
