Weekend Project (Painted Calipers and Lens Tint)

What's good DMV and the rest of the Camaro world? I took some time this past weekend and completed the first mods to my new lady. First, I painted the break calipers with G2 Caliper Paint (Inferno Orange) and added lens tint from Big Worm (www.bigwormgraphix.com) to the rear lights and side markers. The G2 paint was very forgiving! I am not a great painter and all streaks cleared to a very smooth finish once dry. I had enough paint to do four coats (first two thin and second two thick) with about 30 minutes of drying in between. I ordered the Brembo stickers from Ebay (Impact Graphix) and applied them over the new paint. The lens tint also was a smooth and easy process that took me a maximum of one hour to complete. Below are a few pics of my new lady hiked up on all fours as well as the finished product. Let me know what you think so far. Next up, Razzi Body kit and wheels. After the outside is complete we will start the interior and engine mods.

Enjoy!

Sorry for the upside down pics. I do not know why they flipped upside down seeing that they are right side up on my computer.

Wow, I thought you figured out a way to stick your car to the ceiling! Looks good though. The calipers really pop now.

Looks really good. Could I get a close up of them? I am curious of the final finish. Maybe I can save me a few bucks off powder coat.

Yeah I'm surprised at how easy the G2 kit was to use. I wasn't the greatest painter back in my K-12 days so I expected some crappy results but my only regret is settling with the regular green and not springing for the custom color [would've went Synergy Green].

I did this last year before FestII. I do have some chipping by the bleed caps but not a big issue. Looks good, keep the mods going.....

Austin do you still have the GSX-R 750? Just sold my 08 this past summer. It had a slip-on, PC3, and K&N Air filter. I cut off the welded on CAT and had a mid-pipe made at a local muffler shop for $50. With these 3 modes she had a 15HP gain on the dino and this is with the stock headers.
